Which devices work with Apple Pay?

If you’re looking to make in store purchases, Apple Pay is enabled on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and Apple Watch.

How do I load my card to Apple Pay?

  1. Open the Wallet app
  2. Tap the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner or tap “Add Credit or Debit Card”
  3. Enter your credit card details or scan your credit card using your iPhone’s camera
  4. Enter your card’s security code and agree to the Terms and Conditions

Which cards have Apple Pay?

Currently in Australia, only American Express and ANZ have cards that allow you to pay using Apple Pay. We’ve outlined a couple below that have some great offers going.

American Express Essential Credit Card

Which credit cards offer apple pay - American Express Essentials Card

With The American Express Essential Credit Card, you’ll receive a $50 credit when you apply online, are approved and spend $750 on your new card within the first 3 months. It also has no annual fee and comes with Smartphone Screen Insurance of up to $500 for screen repairs to your smartphone when you pay for your phone or contract with your Essential Credit Card.

ANZ First Visa

Which Credit Cards offer apple pay? ANZ First Visa Card

The ANZ First Visa is currently offering 0% p.a. for the first 18 months on balance transfers (reverts to 21.49% p.a. thereafter). Note that a 3% balance transfer fee applies. There’s a low ongoing fee of $30 and you can add up to three additional credit card holders at no extra cost.

Qantas American Express Discovery Card

Which Credit Cards offer apple pay? Qantas American Express Discovery Card

The Qantas American Express Discovery Card is offering up to 7,500 bonus Qantas Points when you apply, are approved and meet the spend criteria. There’s no annual fee and you earn up to 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on purchases with your card. You can also earn up to 1 additional Qantas Point per $1 spent on selected Qantas products and services.

Where can I use Apple Pay?

You can use Apple Pay anywhere you can make contactless payments with your eligible cards. This includes many supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants, hotels and more. Just look for one of these symbols at the check-out.

How do I pay in stores?

iPhone

When you’re ready to pay, hold your iPhone near the contactless reader. You’ll see a prompt asking you to perform Touch ID. Place your finger on the home button and when the transaction has completed, the word “Done” and a tick will appear on the screen.

Apple Watch

To pay, double-click the side button and hold your Apple Watch near the contactless reader. A tap and beep will confirm that your transaction is complete.
